Hercules Sealing Products Canada – Inside Sales/Customer Service

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who adapts well to change and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your primary responsibilities will be providing excellent customer service through responsiveness and a positive attitude, processing customer orders and returns in an efficient manner, certifying accuracy for your work and demonstrating exceptional communication skills.

Exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers
Manage a large volume of incoming calls, faxes and emails
Input customer orders and returns accurately and efficiently
Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly
Provide product/service information and offer substitute products where appropriate
Identify sample parts from customers and provide detailed quotes
Support the Outside Sales team with quotes, follow ups and special projects
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Collaborate effectively with team members
Continuously develop product knowledge through courses, seminars and other resources
Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager or General Manager

High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience in an industrial environment an asset
Knowledge/experience with hydraulic and pneumatic seals an asset
Strong computer skills with focus on Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with IFS an asset
Excellent telephone mannerisms and communication skills
Solid judgement along with decision making and problem solving skills
Positive attitude and eager to learn
